Silage clamp at Naunton Farm
Silage clamp at Naunton Farm
Looking south-east to the Cotswold escarpment. This large area at the top of the farmyard is full of silage for winter consumption, covered by black plastic weighed down by tyres to keep it airtight. This is a less common sight these days as farms now tend to bale silage in black plastic 'toilet rolls' - eg. SJ3013 : Silage crop at Belle Eisle Farm.
