NG4819 : The Mad Burn of Coruisk

taken 22 years ago, near to Loch na Cuilce [water Feature], Highland, Great Britain

The Mad Burn of Coruisk
The Mad Burn of Coruisk
This is actually more properly called the Allt a' Chaoich, but is known as The Mad Burn because of its furious nature when in spate (such as here). A pipe runs from half-way up the fall to the JMCS hut, providing the building's water supply; it rarely runs dry here on Skye.
