NG2941 : Pond by the shore

taken 8 years ago, near to Harlosh, Highland, Great Britain

Pond by the shore
Pond by the shore
A small burn flows through a stone-built tunnel beneath the grassy area in the foreground, to supply a freshwater pond, which lies close to the shore of Loch Caroy at Balmore.
I understand that there is planning permission to build a house on this site, so the pond may one day be filled-in.
