Ragley Hall - 1
From the Rose Garden looking at the west front. Home of the Marquess and Marchioness of Hertford and seat of the Conway-Seymour family. This classic Palladian house was built in 1680 to the design of Robert Hooke, who is perhaps more well-known today for his scientific achievements. He became Surveyor to the City of London and chief assistant of Christopher Wren and developed his skills with Wren when rebuilding London after the Great Fire in 1666.
