NN2508 : Summit, Beinn Ime

Summit, Beinn Ime
Summit, Beinn Ime
A sheltered spot behind the summit rocks of Beinn Ime (1011m). While out of the wind it was exposed in other ways, one nudge and your lunch is in the corrie. The view shows the higher snow line as the sea is approached at Loch Fyne. A temperature inversion has trapped cold air and fog above the loch, and also over much of the coast of Argyll. The straight road along Glen Kinglas and bend at Butterbridge are clearly visible, beneathe the two tops of Binnein Fhìdhleir.
