Rock Doves (Columba livia), Baltasound
Rock Doves are genetically identical to the Feral Pigeons of towns and cities, the doos of Scottish doo-cots and the pigeons of English lofts. The wild, native population in Britain is now restricted to the wilder areas of the north and west, and the population is gradually becoming diluted by domestic genes, although all of the birds in this flock show pure characters.
