Bottle recycling
Inside one of the skips at the Wallyford recycling centre. The plastic will have to be sorted before being used again for various purposes, including turning P.E.T. bottles into polyester thread for clothing. The processes are often so labour intensive that the waste is shipped to low wage economies, usually China.
