SJ3194 : The pier buoy at New Brighton

taken 8 years ago, near to New Brighton, Wirral, Great Britain

The pier buoy at New Brighton
The pier buoy at New Brighton
Standing prominently at the seaward end of what was once Victoria Road, but is now Victoria Parade, the pier buoy is close to where the pier once was. I presume that the buoy once floated in the Mersey to warn shipping of the pier's presence.
