SJ3194 : Wallasey coat of arms

taken 8 years ago, near to New Brighton, Wirral, Great Britain

Wallasey coat of arms
Wallasey coat of arms
The old stonework containing the Wallasey coat of arms has been retained in front of the new Floral Pavilion at New Brighton. The arms were granted on September 8, 1910, so presumably the stonework was erected after this date. Although hard to read on the photo the motto is:
'AUDEMUS DUM CAVEMUS'
'We are bold whilst we are cautious'
