Pennine Way on Fountains Fell
Pennine Way on Fountains Fell
Drifting snow has not only submerged the National Trail, most of the stile and wall is also buried. It is so cold up here that thick crust has formed on the snow making walking much easier - Pen y Ghent is visible in the distance, the next objective on the Pennine Way.
