Lower Moors Pool, ST Mary's Scilly
Lower Moors Pool is the second largest area of open water on St Mary's. There are extensive reedbeds around it, as well as Sallow and Royal Fern. At this time of year however (July) there is little bird life, just Moorhen and Coot, plus Swallows and House Martins hawking nearby. In the background are the outskirts of Hugh Town, with the chimneys of the power generator and the incinerator.
