NZ0816 : Ash trees north of Hill House Farm

taken 8 years ago, near to Stainton Grove, County Durham, Great Britain

Ash trees north of Hill House Farm
Ash trees north of Hill House Farm
Three ash trees neatly spaced out catch the morning sun on the field boundary. Although this area is called Westwick Moor, it has clearly been enclosed for many decades and is now all agricultural land, grazing here, but down to crops further north, with its peace disturbed by the occasional report of bird-scarers - there appear to be several operating on the moor, since NZ1017 : Gas-powered pony scarer is probably too far away to be the one heard here.
