TL5728 : St Luke

taken 25 years ago, near to Chickney, Essex, Great Britain

St Luke
St Luke
The only stained glass in the ancient church at Chickney is this single light in the right-hand half of the west window under the tower, showing St Luke, physician and evangelist, his quill in his hand as he prepares to write his Gospel. As the dedication of the church is to St Mary, I wonder if the glass came from another church?
