Horses grazing in their paddock opposite Upper Elmhirst, the ground dropping away towards Tanyard Wood and the valley of Tanyard Beck. On the far right at the bottom of the hill can be seen the works of Naylor Industries plc ( LinkExternal link ), a major manufacturer of clay underground drainage systems.
