NO2434 : Crags, Gask Hill

Crags, Gask Hill
Crags, Gask Hill
Gask Hill can appear awkward to access, but all seems to fall into place. The Gaskhill Wood track network suffers from windthrow and appears best avoided. There is also the problem of house blocking with the forest road going through the garden of Balloglack. An approach up the edge of the wood from higher up Ballo Glack works right now - no awkward fences and the crags can be dodged. This crag ends as the wood begins and the gap (no scrambling or rock work) gets you through to a grassy path to the summit. There was no fence at the time of visit, just the remains of a temporary electric fence on the ground.
