No decent burial for rabbits
No decent burial for rabbits
Among the neatly laid out graves and well tended grass in Hubberholme Parish Churchyard, someone or something has killed a rabbit. An animal is most likely, since almost any person helping to rid the graveyard of such a pest would want to move the body out of sight rather than leaving it right next to the path where any Sunday worshippers could hardly fail to notice it - although in the January snow it did at least not smell too bad.
