Approaching the wind farm

There is a dusting of snow on the ground. This is the main access track to the Ben Aketil wind farm. The track leads down to join the A850 Portree to Dunvegan road just west of Edinbane in grid square NG3251. Here the track drops down to cross the Allt a' Choire. This view towards the distant Macleod's Tables will be largely lost as the trees mature.
