SK4333 : Nooning ford

taken 8 years ago, near to Draycott, Derbyshire, Great Britain

Nooning ford
Nooning ford
The site of Nooning ford, where the old lane from Ambaston to Draycott used to cross the river Derwent. The river runs deep and swift at this point, and the banks are steep because of erosion, so the ford is now unusable.
