Toposcope near Foel Fadian
Built as a memorial to Wynford Vaughan-Thomas, a BBC and later HTV[1] journalist, the toposcope names the hilltops of Snowdonia that can be seen from the northern slopes of Foel Fadian - if they're not in cloud, that is. In addition to the bilingual attributes of broadcaster, author and traveller, the Welsh version also credits Vaughan-Thomas as a gwladgarwr - a patriot.
