Inscribed stone, St Mark's church, Exeter
St Mark's church was built in the 1930's to replace a church hall used as a place of worship a few streets away. Originally, the services were taken by clergy from Heavitree parish, but the new church was granted a parish of its own. This foundation stone was moved to the churchyard of St Mark's when the hall was demolished and replaced by houses.
