Bridge at Great Haywood Junction, Staffordshire
This is Bridge No 1 crossing the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, and carrying the towpath of the Trent and Mersey Canal which can be seen through the arch. (Turn left for the potteries, the Harecastle Tunnel and Preston Brook; turn right for Fradley Junction, Burton-on-Trent and Derwent Mouth).

This angle of the bridge was obtained from the bow end of a narrowboat moored at the Anglo-Welsh wharf.
