NS9338 : One beech tree left

taken 12 years ago, near to Carmichael, South Lanarkshire, Great Britain

One beech tree left
One beech tree left
These two ancient beeches must have been planted at the same time in the grounds of Carmichael House. The westward tree has succumbed to old age and the wind leaving the other tree naked on its west side.
