Converted railway line in the Wyre Forest
Converted railway line in the Wyre Forest
This forestry road used to be the route of the Bewdley to Tenbury and Woofferton railway line. Today, as well as being a forestry road, it is part of the National Cycle Network route 45, and recently became part of the new Geopark Way, a long distance landscape and geology walking trail. The bridge in the background carries a footpath across what was the railway. Before that, on the right, a farm road leads off the forestry road.
