taken 14 years ago, near to Torweaving Hill [other Features], West Lothian, Great Britain

Strip wood, Birny Knowe
Strip wood, Birny Knowe
A Sitka spruce strip, partially buried in an old snow drift. The drift, hard frozen gave fast and easy walking, which is not supposed to happen in the southern Pentlands.
