Mountain Hare Road Casualty
Mountain Hare Road Casualty
A Mountain Hare in winter pelage dead beside the A702. Frequently seen in the Lowther Hills, the severe winter weather will have forced these animals to head down from the high summits. Indeed, I have heard of a report of animals feeding at the roadside near Crawfordjohn.
