SJ0440 : Scar from a ring feeder

taken 14 years ago, near to Cynwyd, Denbighshire/Sir Ddinbych, Wales

Scar from a ring feeder
Scar from a ring feeder
The foreground shows where the ring feeder was placed and the soil around it is badly poached (churned up by livestock hooves) and will not produce much grass but plenty of weeds come summer. The sheep grazing at present are way across the field under the wood where the grass is better.
