NT0854 : Stray spruce, Craigengar

taken 8 years ago, near to Millstone Rig [other Features], Scottish Borders, Great Britain

Stray spruce, Craigengar
Stray spruce, Craigengar
A self seeded Sitka, a long way from any plantations. At least wind turbines don't yet self replicate and move. The fence is just to the north of the local authority boundary which follows a snow filled burn beyond the tree.

South of Craigengar, the Pentland Hills are just undulating moorland, usually very hard going.
