Tramlink tram no. 2544 in red & white livery in Wellesley Road
When the trams were first introduced, they appeared in this red and white livery, although a few had overall advertising liveries. See TQ3266 : Tramlink tram no. 2550 in First Group livery in Wellesley Road.

Following the purchase of the system by Transport for London in 2008, the livery has been changed to a predominently bright green with blue and white. All 24 trams in the present fleet were built by Bombardier in Austria, and are classed type CR4000. They were based on a well proven design used in Cologne, Germany. The tram pictured was on route 3 to New Addington, and was about to turn left into George Street.
