25 - 29 Lesbourne Road
Two late 19th century buildings in Lesbourne Road. No 27 (now housing Gardenlink, a garden design company) was originally a butcher's shop. In 1907 it was fitted out as a dairy for the Reigate Industrial and Provident Society by architects Baker and Penfold, with tiles and murals by Carter & Co of Poole (the murals depicting in tiles a cattle scene and a milkmaid in the country). These have survived, and it is primarily because of this that this section of the building has been grade II listed. For listing particulars see LinkExternal link.
