TQ6504 : Sluice Lane

taken 8 years ago, near to Pevensey Bay, East Sussex, Great Britain

Sluice Lane
Sluice Lane
The name, like many running through the marsh, seems to have been a recent invention as the road has always been left blank in street atlases over the years. An old road it runs through the southern end of the Pevensey Levels from Pevensey to an old 15th century sluice near Normans Bay then beyond to Cooden.
