Old Track to Northeye
An ancient route that once linked the sea with the now deserted village of Northeye. During the 18th and 19th centuries it was a popular smuggling route used by the gangs from Wealden villages such as Hooe, Mayfield and Groombridge. Currently a footpath that begins at the Star Inn and converges with a number of others at Northeye.
