Footbridge, Hooe Level
Taking the footpath from Northeye to the Lamb Inn over an unnamed drain. This path is an old smuggling track used in the 18th and 19th centuries by the gangs in Wealden villages such as Mayfield and Groombridge as a route to and from the isolated beaches in Pevensey Bay.
