Old and New Marsh Road
Old and New Marsh Road
The narrow lane in the foreground is the old course of what was originally the road across the marshes that linked Pevensey to Hooe. Since then another route initially to Barnhorn was added and during the 20th century the importance of the routes changed as the major through route became the A259 which was straightened whilst the old route to Hooe became the B2095 whose entrance can be seen over the other side of the road.
