Skipton: station exterior
Twenty years ago Skipton station was a very quiet place, but electrification of the route to Leeds and Bradford with a frequent service has transformed all that and the station is now very busy. It has been rebuilt and the refreshment facility, previously closed, re-opened. It is now usually impossible to get a parking space at the station on a weekday unless you are very early.
