Looking south along the Greenwich Meridian across Weirwood Reservoir
Weir Wood reservoir was built in the 1950s by damming the River Medway. It is owned by Southern Water and supplies Crawley. Large areas of the reservoir are a nature reserve and SSSI. The Greenwich Meridian runs through the reservoir.
