Smallwood Lodge, Upper Bar
Newport suffered a disastrous fire in 1665, which meant that most of the town's existing buildings were lost. Smallwood Lodge and the Guildhall are perhaps the two most notable of the small number of survivors. Part of Smallwood Lodge is now used as a restaurant.
