taken 13 years ago, near to Alnwick, Northumberland, Great Britain

Alnwick Tenants' Column
Alnwick Tenants' Column
Built by the Duke of Northumberland's farming tenants after he reduced their rent. The myth/joke is that he is supposed to have raised the rent again once he saw they could afford such a monument. Taken at dawn.
