4 km from Llanddeusant, Carmarthenshire/Sir Gaerfyrddin, Great Britain

Summit cairn on the western summit of the Bannau Sir Gaer
The Bannau Sir Gaer are a series of cliffs (about 150m high) stretching for about 3km eastwards from the NE quarter of this square. Sir Gaer refers to Sir Gaerfyrddin (Carmarthenshire) as this westernmost end of the Brecon Beacons National Park belongs to that county. Apart from the cliffs and a small part of the lake at their foot, the square contains steep rough grassland.
