Reed Point, Cove
Low tide. The sewage pipe entering the Forth can be seen to the right. A sewage works now exists at the site of the coastguard station, servicing Cove and Cockburnspath. Effluent from Cove reaches the plant by gravity and is pumped from Cockburnspath before being biologically treated and released into the sea.
