SE0610 : Boundary trench

taken 12 years ago, near to Marsden, Kirklees, Great Britain

Boundary trench
Boundary trench
A boundary trench on Deer Hill Moss. This is currently a civil parish boundary but must have been more important at one time to justify the effort of digging a wide trench on soggy moorland.

More information would be welcome.
