TL0336 : Wayside Willows & Poplars

near to Flitwick, Bedfordshire, Great Britain

Wayside Willows & Poplars
Wayside Willows & Poplars
Taken on the A507 between Flitwick and Ampthill. There are a number of small streams around this area and the willows proliferate along their banks. The tall trunk in the foreground belongs to a White Willow (Populus alba) though, I think. The tall tree in the background is Lombardy Poplar (Populus nigra var. italica)
