Part of an aircraft component factory complex by the main runway at Prestwick International Airport. Wing parts for various types of aircraft are produced in the complex which employs 750 people. Click on this LinkExternal link for more information.

The art deco building began its life in 1938 at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow as the Palace Of Engineering during the Empire Exhibition. It was dismantled and moved to Prestwick in 1941, during WWII. See it under construction at Bellahouston here LinkExternal link .
