Stepping Stones Across the River Duddon
Stepping Stones Across the River Duddon
Seen here when the river is in spate. The stones were supposed to be used as a crossing point in the Karrimor International Mountain Marathon but were placed out of bounds as they were considered too dangerous. The permanently fixed cable used as a handrail can be seen.
