Rock formations on Niarbyl
In Manx, the name 'Niarbyl' means 'the tail', and refers to Niarbyl's unique tail of rocks jutting out into the Irish Sea. Niarbyl is also of geological interest. It marks the boundary between rocks from two separate continents; namely North America and Africa.
