Dismantled railway bridge, Middleton
Dismantled railway bridge, Middleton
This is on a former line to Batley, long since closed. It was a girder bridge, and the steel girders have been removed for their scrap value. The bridge crosses West Wood Road, which for some reason has been left unsurfaced and downgraded to a bridleway.
