SK0170 : A537 Cat and Fiddle Road

taken 12 years ago, 3 km from Burbage, Derbyshire, Great Britain

A537 Cat and Fiddle Road
A537 Cat and Fiddle Road
This dangerous main road - much loved by motorcyclists - between Buxton and Macclesfield runs along the northern edge of the square for about half a kilometre. It is unfenced and wandering sheep are a significant danger to traffic; I found a dead lamb while walking along this stretch (and also, bizarrely, 210 in cash - see LinkExternal link ).
