Crow Craigies during the Eastern Cairngorm Challenge.
Crow Craigies during the Eastern Cairngorm Challenge.
Since the Cairngorms National Park was established, a considerable amount of money has been spent on upgrading some of the most popular and badly damaged footpaths in the Eastern area. To celebrate the completion of the work on Jocks Road and as part of the National Parks work to encourage visitors to the area, the Eastern Cairngorms Challenge was organised. The winner of the runners race completed the 13 miles (10 by foot, 3 by bike) in 1 hour 50 minutes! We walked it in 4 hours 21 minutes 01 second!
