TL4450 : The Obelisk

The Obelisk
The Obelisk
A short walk from the road (and invisible from it) on a (for the county) high point stands this charming monument. I know nothing of Gregory Wale, but I know of few better epitaphs than the inscription at the base of the obelisk, TL4450 : "a faithful friend". There are fine views to the south.
