Overflow Spillway, Lindley Wood Reservoir
Overflow Spillway, Lindley Wood Reservoir
Lindley Wood is one of 4 reservoirs in the Washburn Valley built in the 1870s to supply water to Leeds. Picture was taken when the reservoir was full - the sound of the water coming down the spillway was audible long before we saw it. See SE2248 : Spillway down to River Washburn
