The Old Drove Road
The Old Drove Road
This section of the old Drove Road leading south from Peebles to Yarrow water is considered to the best preserved section of a Drove Road in Britain. The drystane dykes which contained the Drove Road can be clearly seen, but instead of heather the original road would have been carpeted in dung.
